Senior Financial Accountant responsible for financial reporting compliance at RB Global, working closely with finance teams. Overseeing accurate reporting and analysis with adherence to deadlines.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will be a key player in facilitating the financial reporting and compliance for multiple RB Global entities.
Working closely with the finance operations, inventory and corporate finance teams, the Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including reviewing journal entries and working papers, and preparing reconciliations and financial analysis, while adhering to the company’s strict deadlines.
Requirements
The candidate must hold an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent, along with an accounting designation (CPA, CA), and ideally have more than 5 years of finance and accounting experience gained either in a Big 4 CPA firm or in a large, international, complex, publicly traded organization or equivalent.

Builds and maintains complex Excel workbooks to enhance financial analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
Collaborates with internal stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Finance and FP&A teams) to understand variances and produce meaningful financial commentary.
Responds to ad hoc accounting inquiries and drives issues through to resolution.
Exercises sound judgment in knowing when to escalate matters to ensure timely and complete resolution.
Leads the implementation of new or revised processes and procedures.
Gains alignment and consensus among team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
