Structural Engineer in Structural Services division overseeing cold-formed steel designs across various sectors and contributing to impactful projects nationwide.
Responsibilities
Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects
Design and layout structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments including the preparation of plans, schedules and details
Design structural systems of primarily cold-formed steel framing and structural steel for a variety of healthcare, commercial, retail, multi-family residential, industrial and institutional buildings nationwide
Prepare Structural calculations and design drawings for submittal
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university and zero (0) to three (3) or more years of experience in the structural design of cold-formed steel building projects.
Thorough knowledge of structural engineering principles
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products; and working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD programs
Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs
Attentive to detail and accuracy
Effectively prepares written correspondence in a professional manner and communicates with team members
Applicable U.S. based job experience.
