About the role

  • Graphics Design & Playout Manager at QVC Group ensuring operational leadership for graphics in live TV production. Creating a motivational culture and aligning with broadcast operations for innovation and development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership for the end-to-end graphics lifecycle
  • Split between On Air Execution 50% and Leadership, Talent & Performance Management 50%
  • Responsible for the development and creative "look and feel" of live graphics
  • Create a culture that is motivational, nurtures ideas, drives innovation and empowers the team
  • Align with Broadcast Operations Manager to nurture synergy between GPO and Director roles

Requirements

  • Advanced communication skills and adept at building real relationships at all levels is essential
  • A broad knowledge of all aspects of television production including legislative requirements, ASA policies and Ofcom regulations
  • Demonstrable ability to understand sales targets and airtime management
  • Good awareness of the competition and shows agility in developing new production techniques
  • Excellent computer literacy including use of Microsoft Office and Outlook and the ability to become familiar with any new information systems the company introduces.
