About the role
- Conseiller énergie advising on energy management and renewable energy in Quimperlé's communities. Engaging with local authorities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Energy advisory for municipalities and Quimperlé Communauté
- Management of energy grant funds
- Territorial facilitation: observatory - networking – support for local dynamics
- Monitoring of energy and water consumption, production and expenditures for the municipal and Quimperlé Communauté assets: buildings, street lighting, vehicles, etc., and preparation of a report
- Optimization of system operation with the proposal of a prioritized, quantified action plan aimed at reducing energy and water consumption and costs
- Support for municipalities and Quimperlé Communauté on construction or refurbishment projects regarding energy aspects and for the development of renewable energy production within the territory
- Preparation of the greenhouse gas inventory (BEGES)
- Technical, regulatory and financial-aid watch
- Training and awareness-raising for elected officials and technicians: networking, knowledge-sharing meetings, organization of intra- and extra-territorial site visits
- Participation in a territorial energy observatory in connection with the PCAET (Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan) and the Climat Air Énergie label
- Implementation of actions from the Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan
- And any other tasks that may be assigned according to service needs
Requirements
- Technician specialized in energy and thermal engineering
- Experience in a similar role
- Technical and regulatory knowledge in the building and energy sectors
- Proficiency with IT tools, databases and technical software (energy consumption monitoring, estimation of renewable energy production, etc.)
- Strong writing skills, analytical and synthesis abilities – pedagogical and facilitation skills
