About the role
- Operations Coordinator focusing on logistics and transportation for Alpargatas. Managing multi-channel delivery operations and leading cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities
- Management of the nationwide outbound delivery chain in Brazil: First Mile, Last Mile, and Reverse Logistics
- Management of a Control Tower to ensure the health of delivery operations;
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting together with the FP&A team;
- Coordinate Risk Management;
- Manage operational KPIs: OTIF, OCT, OTD;
- Manage financial metrics: R$/per delivered item freight, R$/transfer freight, R$/per logistics service (palletizing, unloading, storage, daily charges);
- Analyze and manage transportation projects and customer service level initiatives;
- Work cross-functionally with DCs (Distribution Centers), Customer Success, Commercial (Sales) and Procurement;
- Implement processes and drive continuous improvement;
- Lead strategic meetings (S&OP, S&OE, OBZ and VIP);
- Report metrics to the C-level;
- Align strategically with partner areas;
Requirements
- Intermediate English preferred;
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or similar fields;
- Advanced MS Office skills;
- Postgraduate degree or MBA in Logistics/Supply Chain (plus);
- Experience coordinating multi-channel delivery operations at a national (Brazil) level;
- Experience managing teams and projects;
- Experience with operational and financial logistics KPIs;
- Knowledge of freight rate tables and cost composition (weight-based freight, value-based freight, GRIS, Ad Valorem);
