Software Architect designing enterprise-scale solutions for financial clients at QUALCO. Collaborating with teams to ensure architectural consistency and regulatory compliance in software development.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain enterprise application architecture aligned with organizational standards and best practices;
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions;
Contribute hands-on Java development for critical components and proof-of-concept implementations;
Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural consistency across applications;
Define and document architecture patterns, integration standards, and design guidelines;
Review system designs and code to ensure compliance with performance, security, and quality requirements;
Support system integration across internal platforms and third-party systems;
Participate in technology evaluations and architectural governance processes;
Experience in working with and evolving legacy systems within large enterprise environments;
Ability to clearly document and communicate architectural decisions using diagrams and written documentation;
Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
3–6 years of professional Architect experience in enterprise environments or senior-level development experience;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
Strong experience with Java and enterprise Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot);
Solid understanding of enterprise application architecture (layered architecture, microservices, or hybrid models);
Experience building and consuming RESTful/SOAP APIs and integrating distributed systems;
Experience with relational databases and SQL;
Good knowledge of version control systems and enterprise SDLC practices;
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional and business stakeholders.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience with enterprise integration patterns, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures;
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in an enterprise context;
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps collaboration;
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes);
Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in enterprise systems.
