About the role

  • QTS Amplify program participant developing leadership skills through rotations in strategic roles. Engage in process improvement, project management, and operational support at a leading data center company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or actively participate in end-to-end assessments for cross-functional initiatives, including data gathering, analysis, recommendations, and implementation planning and coordination.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and provide project management support in critical areas of QTS.
  • Coordinate and drive successful change management efforts across diverse business functions.
  • Form and manage cross-functional project teams to achieve objectives.
  • Utilize AI prompting and industry-leading performance-enhancing applications to drive project outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze the operational and financial impacts of proposed solutions to make impactful recommendations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the data center industry, QTS product offerings, and QTS operating model through immersive rotational experiences.
  • Balance assigned/directed tasks with self-identified project opportunities.
  • Regularly present findings to various levels of QTS leadership.
  • Travel between corporate and team hubs up to 25%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Four or more years of professional experience or two or more years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degree (technical Master’s degree or MBA) would be great.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Finance, or Economics is desirable.
  • Six or more years of professional experience or four or more years in consulting or investment banking is preferred.
  • Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role would be great.
  • Experience in technology, construction, engineering, or energy sectors is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Process Improvement Certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) are a plus.
