Requirements
In-depth knowledge of security architecture, frameworks, and standards with working knowledge of TOGAF, SABSA, and NIST.
Proficiency in network security, cloud security, application security, and data protection.
Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), SIEM, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM).
Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or SANS GIAC.
Cloud-specific certifications, such as AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer, are highly valued.
Ability to identify, assess, and prioritize security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Familiarity with risk management frameworks and methodologies.
Capability to design and implement secure architectures for complex systems and environments.
Aptitude for analysing complex security issues and developing innovative solutions.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and forensic investigations.
