About the role

  • Prepares engineering plans, designs, specifications, standards, cost estimates, evaluations, or studies
  • Conducts research, manages engineering projects, and interacts with customers
  • Performs data and records management and ensures compliance with codes and standards
  • Supports emergency response operations as needed

Requirements

  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent technical certificate in design or pre-engineering
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Level of knowledge of subject matter within assigned area of focus sufficient for completing most project work independently
  • Basic knowledge of related disciplines
  • Organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with PC and design software, and other database applications
