About the role
- Prepares engineering plans, designs, specifications, standards, cost estimates, evaluations, or studies
- Conducts research, manages engineering projects, and interacts with customers
- Performs data and records management and ensures compliance with codes and standards
- Supports emergency response operations as needed
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent technical certificate in design or pre-engineering
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of relevant experience
- Level of knowledge of subject matter within assigned area of focus sufficient for completing most project work independently
- Basic knowledge of related disciplines
- Organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with PC and design software, and other database applications
