About the role
- Business Analyst responsible for analyzing credit policies and large datasets in a hybrid environment. Collaborating with teams for innovative credit solutions at Compass UOL.
Responsibilities
- Map opportunities in the current policy and proposed innovations;
- Perform analyses to propose challenging/ambitious policies;
- Monitor key metrics to ensure improved effectiveness of the applied policy;
- Execute activities to support pilots;
- Participate in deployment testing;
- Attend squad ceremonies to follow up on activities with the team (Jira).
Requirements
- Knowledge of consumer (retail) credit policies;
- Ability to work with large volumes of data and perform quantitative analyses;
- Basic knowledge of statistics and experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, SAS, Databricks;
- Experience participating in credit projects;
- Familiarity with credit scoring systems and risk assessment models;
- Experience in the development and validation of credit models (e.g., credit scoring models);
- Knowledge of credit policies, portfolio analysis, and risk management;
- Understanding of credit regulations and compliance;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Proactive attitude and an innovative mindset;
- Plus: experience with credit engines and Tableau. Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
