Senior Actuarial Associate preparing liability cash flow projections for Prudential's valuation and projections team. Supporting AAT, risk management, and other vital financial responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Prepare liability cash flow projections supporting AAT, sensitivity testing, portfolio management, insurance risk management, and liquidity stress testing and assess reasonability of the results
Prepare other deliverables and key inputs, such as reserve true-ups, scenario files, inforce data validations, and post-model adjustment tools
Provide support for the annual assumption update process, primarily using AXIS and also utilizing Polysystems
Provide documentation and testing support of model changes and model reaffirmations
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
2+ years of actuarial experience
Dedication to completing work in a timely and accurate fashion
Strong technical skills in SQL
Basic experience in AXIS
Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
ASA (a plus)
Familiarity with results analysis tools like PowerBI (a plus)
Experience working in a production environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities (a plus)
