About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the agile team in implementing new requirements in C++
- Independently create and execute tests and integrate the developed components into the existing software
- Extend simulation applications for sensor data generation and graphical evaluation tools
- Provide and operate applications in containerized environments (Docker), including deployment, configuration, and orchestration of multiple containers
- Develop and implement solutions using Python, as well as AI / Machine Learning
- Design and implement modern systems for sensor data processing, including development and enhancement of algorithms — e.g., in the areas of tracking and fusion
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical degree, e.g., in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a comparable field
- (Very) good knowledge of Python and C++ is essential
- Knowledge of object-oriented software design is required, as well as experience with software development tools (e.g., Visual Studio (Code), Git)
- Knowledge of algorithms (e.g., tracking and fusion algorithms) is required
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or GUI development in C++ and Qt
- Experience using message brokers / message queues / middleware (e.g., DDS, Kafka, Podman)
- Communication and coordination skills; ability to work in a team
- Very good German and English language skills
