About the role
- Softwareentwickler developing automated test systems for diverse industries like automotive and aerospace. Creating drivers, tools, and documentation while ensuring adherence to internal standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop drivers for integration into complete systems, following internal development standards
- Develop tools and support software independent of specific frameworks
- Implement software with a wide range of features and interconnections, including holistic coordination over time
- Translate external and internal requirements into module functionalities
- Participate in code reviews
- Create design and test specifications and test procedures
- Redesign complex modules
- Conduct technical discussions and document software in German and English
Requirements
- Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent
- Experience programming in C++
- Experience developing test systems — ideally with the NI toolchain (e.g., LabVIEW, NI TestStand)
- Knowledge of measurement technology (e.g., optical measurement systems or analog and digital measurement techniques)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for business
- Strong communication and coordination skills, independent working style, and assertiveness
