About the role

  • Sales representative in construction materials providing customer support and relationship management. Focus on driving sales in Bremen and Hannover.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and advising customers in the building materials trade
  • Maintaining and developing strong customer relationships
  • Acquiring new customers
  • Maintaining a presence with specialist retailers through coordinated market development
  • Maintaining contacts with tradespeople and installers who work with our products
  • Responsibility for own sales and profit targets
  • Managing and monitoring sales processes
  • Providing technical advice to specialist contractors and tendering authorities
  • Participating in trade fairs and customer events
  • Conducting training sessions and sales promotion activities

Requirements

  • Completed commercial, craft or technical vocational training
  • Ideally some experience in the building materials trade or building materials industry
  • Strong sales orientation with a confident and persuasive manner
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confident user of standard MS Office applications
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Business-fluent German, spoken and written
