About the role
- As a Junior Software Developer, you will develop signal demodulation and decoding software components. Join PROCITEC and work with modern technologies in digital signal processing.
Responsibilities
- Development of software components for the demodulation and decoding of radio signals from a wide range of application areas
- Taking responsibility for the design, development, documentation and testing of these software components
- Development of numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility and performance
- Bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols, from channel decoding to the application layer
- Working with modern C++ and Python technologies (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
- Collaboration in an agile team with close technical exchange with colleagues
Requirements
- Degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science, physics or equivalent qualifications
- Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
- Strong experience in software development with C++ and Python
- Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Open communication and a strong problem-solving focus
- Very good German and English language skills.
