About the role

  • Clinical Social Media Specialist leveraging AAC expertise to create impactful social media content. Leading social media strategy and engaging audiences across various digital platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end social media strategy and execution across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar using social media management tools
  • Create platform‑specific content such as short‑form videos, reels, carousels, stories, and live content
  • Translate AAC research, products, and clinical concepts into accessible, relatable, and shareable content
  • Implement audience‑growth strategies, including hashtag research, trend participation, and influencer partnerships within AAC and SLP communities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, Education, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in AAC or Assistive Technology
  • 3+ years of professional experience executing modern social media strategies and using social media tools
  • 3+ years managing corporate social media accounts and/or digital content creation
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and engagement best practices
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns and audience targeting strategies
  • Strong ability to analyze social media data and translate insights into action
  • Proficiency with video editing and graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of SEO, AEO, and digital marketing best practices
  • Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus.
