About the role

  • Asst. Manager, Social Media leading the execution of social strategies for Harlequin's brand. Focused on community engagement and brand awareness through organic social initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of organic social strategies
  • Own the day-to-day execution of our organic social presence
  • Oversee editorial planning, including the creation, scheduling, and publishing of monthly content calendars
  • Ideate, create, and execute compelling, on-brand social content and copy
  • Monitor and analyze social performance, establishing KPIs, benchmarks, and insights to inform optimization and continuous improvement
  • Manage community engagement across social channels
  • Stay current on platform updates, tools, and cultural trends

Requirements

  • 2-3 years community management and moderation experience in a consumer driven social and/or digital marketing environment is preferred
  • Experience with current and emerging social media channels
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Canva & Sprout Social an asset
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Must have high proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work successfully both independently and within a team dynamic
  • Creative thinker with a drive for results
