About the role
- Senior Electrical Engineer leading electrical and controls design for projects at Pioneer Production Services in Houston. Ensuring compliance with standards and managing project budgets and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the electrical and controls design of expansion and maintenance capital projects
- Ensure compliance with company standards, specifications and industry standards while managing project budget and schedules
- Liaison with other functional groups to ensure project and company requirements are achieved and incorporated into design deliverables
- Manage 120/208 volt systems and 480 volt systems including motor controls centers/motor starters and more
- Execute Allen-Bradley or equivalent PLC base controls systems and design motor controls circuits
- Work with smart and analog transmitters, manage level gauges and transmitter systems
- Oversee project scope, schedule, capital cost estimate, execution planning and risk management
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases of projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management
- Professional Engineer designation (Preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change
- Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly
- Skilled in resolving complex problems and clearly communicating technical concepts
