Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and reports to auditors.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyze financial data, provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and maintain the annual budgeting process and analyze budget submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a nice to have.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in statutory accounting, audit compliance, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required for this position.
