About the role
- Junior Tax Analyst focusing on indirect taxes at Portobello. Responsible for compliance and support in tax inquiries across business units.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of processes, procedures and system configurations to ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Provide support for tax inquiries from all Group Business Units.
- Manage requests in the group's ticketing system.
- Adjust tax configurations in the system when necessary.
- Reconcile accounting accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed, preferably in Accounting, Law or Economics;
- Minimum 3 years of experience with indirect taxes: ICMS, ICMS Tax Substitution (ICMS-ST), Differential of Rates, PIS and COFINS;
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of ancillary obligations: SPED Fiscal, SPED Contribuições and state-level obligations;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI and other data analysis tools;
- Advantage: experience in corporate tax planning activities;
- Postgraduate degree in taxation;
- Knowledge of Mastersaf and Oracle.
