About the role
- Associate for Financial Due Diligence at Portage Point Partners in India. Supporting buy-side and sell-side due diligence for private equity and corporates in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of FDD engagements including Quality of Earnings (QoE), revenue / EBITDA analysis, working capital reviews and cash flow analysis
- Review financial statements, management reports and transaction materials to identify key trends, risks and value drivers
- Prepare client-ready deliverables including data books, analytical schedules, QoE bridges and executive-level summaries
- Assist in synergy assessments, carve-out analyses and integration support
- Collaborate with US engagement teams and participate in client discussions when required
- Work on multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining high quality and responsiveness
- Contribute to developing best practices, knowledge sharing and India team processes
- Support business development efforts including research, pitch materials and thought leadership
Requirements
- Two to four years of experience in Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Advisory / Deals
- Experience working with private equity clients or on US / global transactions is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into insights
- Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel analytics and management data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create client-ready outputs
- Ability to work under tight timelines with a strong sense of ownership
- Proven experience in high-pressure, client-facing environments
