About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical development of customized solutions on the Freshservice platform
- Design and develop applications using the Freshworks Developer Platform (FDK)
- Develop private and public apps for Freshservice
- Define technical architecture for complex integrations via REST APIs and webhooks
- Develop integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, DevOps, IAM, security tools, automation, among others)
- Implement secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, tokens, and permission controls)
- Create advanced automations and extensions that expand the platform’s native capabilities
- Perform technical analysis of requirements and propose scalable, sustainable solutions
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Define technical standards, guidelines, and development governance
- Work on resolving high-complexity technical issues
- Ensure quality, security, and performance of delivered solutions
- Support technical estimates and feasibility assessments for strategic requests
- Act as a technical mentor to developers and analysts
- Document architecture, integrations, and technical decisions
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and the technological evolution of the Freshservice ecosystem
Requirements
- Solid experience in advanced development on the Freshservice platform
- Mastery of the Freshworks Developer Platform (FDK) and app architecture
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
- Experience with REST API-based architectures
- Experience with complex integrations (ERP, DevOps, IAM, security tools, etc.)
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication and API security
- Familiarity with events, webhooks, and advanced automations
- Ability to design scalable and secure technical architectures
- Experience with development best practices (Clean Code, version control, testing)
- Experience in technical leadership and code review
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- University degree in IT or related fields
- Freshworks Developer Certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture (nice to have)
- Experience with integrations involving AI or intelligent automation (nice to have)
- Experience with cloud environments (nice to have)
- Knowledge of process governance (ITIL / COBIT) (nice to have)
