About the role
- DevOps Engineer responsible for supporting infrastructure and developing delivery pipelines at Polarstern Experts. Join the team to enhance operational processes in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Co-manage operational projects and support their development
- Provide and jointly further develop the continuous delivery pipelines and the cloud environment
- Support the operation of the existing infrastructure in a Java-based multi-tier environment
- Document operational processes and participate in release procedures
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification
- Initial practical experience with Linux systems and in a DevOps environment (Java applications on Spring Boot, Docker, Elastic Stack)
- Knowledge in areas such as Continuous Delivery processes (GitLab), IT security, and/or configuration API and service management
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes
- Interest in container and cloud technologies
