About the role

  • Restaurant Manager at Pokawa overseeing daily operations, staff management, and customer service. Driving team performance and ensuring high standards of product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers by presenting our different offerings, answering questions, and providing a short Hawaiian culinary experience from order-taking to payment
  • Take orders for dine-in and takeaway via various platforms while managing the flow of delivery drivers
  • Lead and supervise teams during service
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP)
  • Implement and ensure correct application of operational production processes
  • Oversee proper procurement and stock management
  • Manage operational HR tasks: recruitment, training, scheduling, setting objectives, working time management, annual reviews, etc.
  • Foster a positive team spirit within the restaurant
  • Monitor key restaurant performance indicators and implement corrective actions when necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience in restaurant management
  • Organized and detail-oriented: comfortable with numbers and reporting tools
  • Energetic and curious: you enjoy being hands-on, taking initiative, and working in a young, dynamic environment
  • You have a natural affinity for operations and want to develop in a stimulating environment

Benefits

  • Permanent full-time contract (39 hours/week) with gross pay of €16.05 per hour in La Valette-du-Var (availability required weekdays and weekends)
