About the role

• Junior IT Consultant supporting Managed Services team with incident management and optimizing customer environments. Engaging in technical documentation and collaboration in infrastructure and data management projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in the role of a (Junior) IT Consultant by receiving, analyzing, and handling incident, service, and change requests in a Managed Services environment
• Communicate with customers, colleagues and partners as part of day-to-day operations
• Contribute to monitoring and optimizing our customers' environments
• Maintain monitoring systems and handlers
• Perform and document regular maintenance tasks in server environments according to instructions
• Assist in planning and executing installations and deployments
• Contribute to creating and maintaining technical operations documentation
• Support customer IT projects in the areas of infrastructure and data management

Requirements

• Basic understanding of operating IT systems and server environments, as well as knowledge of on-premises and hybrid IT infrastructures
• Completed technical training (e.g., IT specialist) or degree, or comparable initial professional experience in the server/infrastructure area
• Interest in monitoring, maintaining and stabilizing IT systems
• Basic knowledge of working with databases (e.g., SQL-based)
• Interest in business intelligence, reporting, or data-warehouse topics
• Basic technical understanding of scripting or automation concepts
• Awareness of operational and security requirements
• You work in a service-oriented, careful and independent manner, are a team player, and are open to new topics, technologies and change
• Very good German (C-level) and good English skills
