Responsibilities
Development of software components for demodulation and decoding of radio signals across a wide range of application areas
Taking responsibility for the design, development, documentation, and testing of the relevant software components
Development of numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility, and performance
Bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols from channel decoding up to the Application Layer
Working with modern technologies in C++ and Python (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
Collaborating in a team using agile methods with close technical exchange with colleagues.
Requirements
Completed degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or comparable qualifications
Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
Strong experience in software development using C++ and Python
Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
Open communication style and a strong focus on problem solving
Very good German and English language skills.
