Responsibilities
- Development of software components for demodulation and decoding of radio signals across a wide range of application areas
- Taking responsibility for the design, development, documentation, and testing of the relevant software components
- Development of numerical algorithms for digital signal processing with a focus on reliability, robustness, reproducibility, and performance
- Bit-level analysis of new and unknown transmission protocols from channel decoding up to the Application Layer
- Working with modern technologies in C++ and Python (e.g., pybind11, etc.)
- Collaborating in a team using agile methods with close technical exchange with colleagues.
Requirements
- Completed degree in communications engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or comparable qualifications
- Enthusiasm for digital signal processing and topics related to demodulation and decoding of radio signals
- Strong experience in software development using C++ and Python
- Knowledge of build tools and continuous integration (CMake, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Open communication style and a strong focus on problem solving
- Very good German and English language skills.
