About the role

  • Content Marketing Manager for Pivotal Health defining narratives in IDR space. Leading content strategy and building healthcare reimbursement understanding through compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

  • Own and build the content engine: Develop and manage a content calendar that drives consistent, high-quality output across blog, research, and multimedia formats.
  • Turn complex healthcare topics into compelling content: Create content that explains IDR, reimbursement workflows, and specialty-specific insights in a way that is clear, engaging, and valuable to our audience.
  • Establish Pivotal as a thought leader in IDR: Build content that positions Pivotal as the go-to authority in the space; from foundational educational pieces to deeper, insight-driven perspectives.
  • Create multi-format, high-impact content: Produce blogs, white papers, newsletters, webinars, and interactive content (e.g., calculators) that drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Partner across the business to tell better stories: Collaborate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Engineering and Analytics to surface insights and translate them into compelling narratives.
  • Leverage data to drive content and insights: Work with internal datasets (e.g., CMS data, claims data, surveys) to create differentiated, data-backed content that stands out in the market.
  • Optimize content for growth: Use SEO, analytics, and performance metrics to refine content strategy and improve how we drive traffic, engagement, and pipeline.
  • Support broader marketing and communications efforts: Partner on campaigns, newsletters, and PR initiatives to amplify Pivotal’s voice in the market.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in content marketing in healthcare or minimally a background in healthcare
  • Experience creating healthcare content for complex or technical subject matter
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Experience owning a content calendar end-to-end, sourcing and managing expert writers
  • Experience creating data-driven content or research reports
  • Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and content performance metrics
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, or similar) and CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, etc.)
  • Comfort working with data (e.g. Excel, Gsheets) and using it to inform content and storytelling
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguity
