Responsibilities
Partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to design, develop and maintain Power Platform, Dataverse, Power BI, Autosys JIL, Python, Powershell/Batch scripts, Windows Servers infrastructure.
Code, test and debug new and existing applications.
Implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers.
Develop strategic and tactical solutions for complex business challenges promptly, ensuring code follows latest coding practices and industry standards.
Engage in development using technologies such as Power Platform, Dataverse, PowerBI, Jira, Autosys JIL, Batch/Perl/Powershell scripts, Excel, SQL, Python, Oracle, SQL Server, Bit Bucket, and programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript.
Analyze system requirements of existing solutions to modernize the tech stack and remove technical impediments.
Collaborate with product owners to understand needs and define feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design, and other team members to deliver robust solutions with significant business impact.
Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation, addressing problems discovered by quality assurance or product support.
Design automated testing to ensure system functionality aligns with scalable business requirements.
Design and develop custom solutions for system changes, including full stack applications.
Lead large cross-functional projects supporting company initiatives and mentor junior staff.
Prepare communications and presentations on system solutions and enhancements.
Take ownership of production issues, analyzing and collaborating with relevant areas for resolution.
Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, provide input, coach team members, and embed learning and innovation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
Preferred majors include Management Information Systems, Business Analytics and Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Economics.
Essential full stack development experience.
Power Platform, Dataverse, PowerBI, Oracle, SQL Server Cognos, .NET, Java, Python, Powershell, Batch, or similar platforms is a plus.
Experience with SQL, Cloud native development, Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Connectors, and related tools is preferred.
Experience with agile development methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and familiarity with the Software Development Life-Cycle.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
Able to troubleshoot production issues in the platforms mentioned in a timely manner, and collaborate with technical team members and business team members.
Provide off hours production support on a rotational basis and during special events.
