Business Analyst role extracting and analyzing data to support the sales team at PayJoy. Utilizing Business Intelligence tools and SQL for performance measurement and insights.
Responsibilities
Analyze sales performance data to produce reports and data-driven recommendations that guide decision-making and actions by the sales team, using charts, visualizations, and other effective means to communicate findings clearly and concisely.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Filter and analyze data consistently and at scale, working with large volumes of data to build a solid foundation for calculated decision-making — recognizing that not all answers are in the data and/or that not all desired data is available.
Gather information to identify improvement opportunities, including monitoring the impact of training.
Make recommendations to improve outcomes based on data analysis and a deep understanding of how our products and processes work.
Measure performance of internal sales areas (KPIs, KBIs, KKIs, and KSIs)
Analyze marketing campaign performance, including website traffic, lead generation, customer acquisition costs, and customer engagement.
Analyze the effectiveness of sales enablement programs, sales promotions, and incentives.
Manage multiple requests and prioritize report generation.
Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Data Analytics
Prior experience in Data Analysis for Sales or Marketing areas (experience in Finance and startups is a plus)
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven improvement solutions, and to work with large, complex datasets.
Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the work environment and priorities, and to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
Intermediate knowledge of SQL, data visualization software (Power BI, Looker, Tableau), and proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
