Responsibilities
- Regularly analyse transaction data (from various company’s systems) to identify trends, draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of performance analysis/ merchant profitability analysis
- Prepare reports and variance analysis using excel, powerpoint and other advanced tools
- Preparing and monitoring of business KPIs
- Assist in the preparation of company and departmental budgets and monitoring actual vs budgeted performance
- Cross-functional collaboration on projects
- Ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Build and maintain financial models for business cases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
- Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, audit or related roles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
- Strong analytical skills for variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting with attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- A proactive approach in problem-solving and a willingness to learn and grow in the role
- Full ownership and accountability for deliverables
- Familiarity with BI tools (i.e. PowerBI) is a plus
