About the role

  • QA Engineer I ensuring quality assurance while testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for a global tech leader. Collaborating in agile Scrum teams to execute test cases and deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, documenting, and executing test cases based on functional and business requirements
  • Performing various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for Dynamics 365 FO applications
  • Supporting sprint testing activities by validating user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Logging, tracking, and validating defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
  • Reviewing test cases to ensure adequate coverage and requirements traceability
  • Executing manual test cases and supporting automation efforts under guidance from senior QA members
  • Following and applying Agile testing best practices within Scrum teams
  • Participating in sprint ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Actively communicating testing progress, risks, and blockers to the team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 1–3 years of QA experience, preferably testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) or Dynamics AX (2012 R2/R3)
  • Basic understanding of Finance & Operations business processes such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, or finance modules
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to understand and validate JSON and XML data formats; exposure to API testing tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps in requirements and raise clarifying questions
  • Strong collaboration skills and willingness to work closely with developers, functional consultants, and other QA team members
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver them within sprint timelines
  • Basic exposure to RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool) for D365 FO is a plus; willingness to learn and contribute to regression test suites
  • Understand Azure Logic App flows is an advantage.
  • Ability to independently plan and execute assigned test cases with guidance when required.
