International Accountant responsible for closing accounts and financial analysis in a dynamic environment. Collaborating with management and enhancing accounting efficiency for multiple entities.
Responsibilities
Close Review and Production: Review, verify and correct accounting records and supporting documents for the group’s annual and monthly closes. Prepare supporting schedules and perform consistency checks during monthly close processes. Ensure the quality and completeness of the audit trail.
Intercompany Processes (InterCo): Design and implement the monthly intercompany reconciliation and invoicing process. Ensure matching/clearing of intercompany entries and monitor reciprocal flows between subsidiaries.
Operational Coordination: Support the Accounting Manager in leading and coordinating the accounting team. Ensure strict adherence to the closing timetable and identify potential bottlenecks.
Ad-hoc Analyses & CFO Support: Produce ad-hoc financial analyses at the CFO’s request (margin analyses, expense reviews, etc.). Collaborate with management on one-off reporting and financial projects.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years in general accounting, with significant experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
Technical Expertise: Excellent command of SAGE and office tools (advanced Excel). Strong foundational accounting knowledge.
Scope: Multi-entity experience required (knowledge of France and Spain-specific requirements is a major advantage).
Languages: Fluent French and English required (Spanish is a plus).
Qualities: Methodical rigor, proactivity and the ability to work effectively in a high-growth environment.
