Responsibilities
Perform and lead FEA campaigns including static, modal, thermo-mechanical, dynamic and transient analyses, dealing efficiently with non-linear problems (contacts, plasticity, large deformation etc.)
Plan, build, verify, document and maintain high-fidelity FE models with traceability to loads, material properties, requirements, and assumptions.
Provide clear, actionable design feedback to mechanical design and propulsion teams at both part and subsystem level.
Develop and improve analysis methodologies, scripts, subroutines, benchmarks, and guidelines.
Participate in design reviews, presenting methods, assumptions, results, and recommendations with clarity, conciseness and technical rigor.
Requirements
Master’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering disciplines.
3+ years of experience performing advanced structural analyses using commercial FEA tools (preferably Abaqus).
Proven ability to run structural static and dynamic analyses with high independence, including thermomechanical, linear and non-linear, modal and other dynamic analyses.
Strong understanding of structural mechanics, vibrations, fatigue, fracture, material behavior, and numerical methods.
Demonstrated experience framing analysis problems, defining assumptions, and ensuring consistency with loads and system requirements.
Ability to interpret results critically, identify anomalies, and propose sound engineering solutions.
Excellent communication skills—able to articulate assumptions, limitations, and design implications clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
Proactive mindset, ownership attitude, and passion for sharing knowledge and elevating team capability.
