About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the company’s accounting routines, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations (COSIF).
- Assist in preparing financial statements and accounting reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and support month-end closing activities.
- Collaborate on process improvements and assist in implementing accounting systems.
- Prepare and submit periodic reports to the Central Bank (CADOCs), meeting deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Provide accounting support to various departments and business units.
- Monitor changes in accounting and regulatory standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements
- Completed or in-progress degree in Accounting.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within financial institutions.
- Experience with the Central Bank’s rules and requirements for financial institutions is desirable.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and accounting management tools.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
