About the role

  • Assistant Expert Comptable prenant en charge un portefeuille clients diversifié. Collaborant avec une équipe d'experts-comptables pour fournir des services comptables variés.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a client portfolio composed of micro-enterprises and SMEs, tradespeople, retailers, and self-employed professionals
  • Process digitized accounting documents
  • Verify automatic accounting pre-allocations
  • Data entry, posting and reconciliation (matching)
  • Preparation of tax returns and VAT filings
  • Review of accounts
  • Preparation of balance sheets and corporate tax packages (liasse fiscale)

Requirements

  • Minimum education: two-year post-secondary diploma (Bac+2, e.g., BTS/DUT) or DCG (Diploma in Accounting and Management)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within an accounting firm required
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting
  • Good command of office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) and accounting software
  • Ability to apply current methodologies while complying with professional standards and procedures
  • Methodical and organized; enjoys working collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; proactive and comfortable with digital tools
  • Knowledge of PENNYLANE software is a plus
