About the role

  • Engineering Intern participating in Summer Internship Program at PG&E. Opportunities in Gas Operations or Gas Engineering, contributing as a valuable team member.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the Summer Intern Program designed to help students gain valuable knowledge and experience in either PG&E’s Gas Operations or Gas Engineering
  • Contribute as a valuable team member in a specific department within Gas Operations or Gas Engineering
  • Work assignments will be in either the Gas Operations or Gas Engineering organization

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree full-time in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering fields
  • Must be continuing education towards degree during and/or after internship
  • Must be returning back to school in the Fall of 2026 continuing full-time enrollment
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • FE/EIT certification (Desired)
  • Former PG&E Intern (Desired)
  • Work experience or internships in utilities, municipalities, construction, or other pipeline related fields (Desired)
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills (Desired)
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written (Desired)
  • Takes initiative and can work independently with minimal direction (Desired)
