About the role

  • Leading electric substation projects at PG&E, focusing on asset performance and strategic partnerships. Managing a team to develop and implement electric transmission infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements capital projects for the electric substation portfolio including asset health, reliability, capacity and other projects
  • Supports scoping and manages developments of short and long-term-strategy project proposals for substation and infrastructure
  • Manages staff to accomplish results through effective recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, rewards and recognition
  • Manages Supervisors or Professional employees
  • Oversees the engineers tasked with creating plans for specific assets
  • Ensures annual and strategy documents are completed and updated

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of engineering experience, including experience with cycle time planning of assets and strategy related to infrastructure asset development
  • Masters Degree in business administration or equivalent experience
  • PE-Professional Engineer license
