About the role

  • Associate Engineer managing electric distribution asset strategies and projects in California. Working with senior engineers to improve performance and reliability across electric distribution assets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects within their local area of $100,000 or less
  • Submit long and short-term reconstruction recommendations
  • Monitor area substation and circuit capabilities
  • Prepare proposals for corrective actions
  • Analyze historical loads and project future growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Electrical engineering experience in an electric utility company
  • Basic electrical engineering principles and theory
  • Experience in distribution electric design and planning engineering
  • Experience using engineering modeling tools (e.g., CYME, Pole load calculations)
