About the role
- Electronic Engineering Placement Student at Oxford Instruments Andor, working in NPD Engineering team and tackling real-world engineering projects for innovative scientific products.
Responsibilities
- The Electronic Engineering Placement Student will work in the New Product Development Engineering team, alongside a small team of experienced Electronic Engineers, supporting and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio.
- Tackle real-world projects that push the boundaries of technology and creativity.
- Work alongside experienced Electronic Engineers who will guide your development and nurture your talents.
Requirements
- Will have successfully completed the 2nd year of a BEng/MEng degree (or equivalent) by June 2026
- Have an understanding of basic concepts of Electronic design- analogue and digital
- Have experience working and fault finding on electronic circuits/systems
- Are available to start placement in September 2026
- Are hungry to learn and innovate
- Are excellent team players and communicators
- Are eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges
