About the role
- Escalator Project Manager supporting escalator projects across new equipment and modernization sectors at Otis. Involved in estimating, ordering, shipment, installation, and customer handover.
Responsibilities
- Review technical bid specifications and drawings to ensure product alignment
- Provide technical support to sales offices to ensure customer requirements are met
- Act as liaison between sales offices, customers, and factory to resolve open issues
- Manage project schedules to identify and mitigate risks to delivery
- Communicate regularly and respond to sales office and customer requests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience in project management within the construction industry
- Escalator background is desirable
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and self-direction skills
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in high-stress environments
- Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
