About the role

  • Escalator Project Manager supporting escalator projects across new equipment and modernization sectors at Otis. Involved in estimating, ordering, shipment, installation, and customer handover.

Responsibilities

  • Review technical bid specifications and drawings to ensure product alignment
  • Provide technical support to sales offices to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Act as liaison between sales offices, customers, and factory to resolve open issues
  • Manage project schedules to identify and mitigate risks to delivery
  • Communicate regularly and respond to sales office and customer requests

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project management within the construction industry
  • Escalator background is desirable
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and self-direction skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in high-stress environments
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and review architectural and structural drawings
  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
