Responsibilities
Lead the newly established OPEX Management team, currently consisting of 3 employees
Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive Operational Excellence strategies
Analyze and optimize existing processes to identify improvement potential across the entire value chain
Plan, execute and take responsibility for Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement (CI) and Kaizen initiatives, as well as project management
Establish and facilitate continuous improvement programs (CIP)
Train, coach and empower managers and employees in OPEX methodologies
KPI tracking, performance analyses and preparation of relevant reports
Lead interdisciplinary projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs, including investment projects at the Kevelaer site
Requirements
Strong practical knowledge of Operational Excellence, gained through vocational training with further qualification or a technical/business degree
Several years of relevant professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally with exposure to the food or feed industry
Proven track record in Operational Excellence, process optimization and Lean management
Ideally Six Sigma Black Belt or comparable certifications
Analytical skills and a structured approach to work
Strong leadership and coaching skills to motivate teams and actively support change processes
