About the role
- IT Security Consultant providing technical consultation on Cyber Security projects in various areas including SIEM and Cloud Security. Working in a hybrid role across multiple locations in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Technical consulting and support for clients on IT security projects, focusing on one of the following areas: SIEM (Splunk, Chronicle, Sentinel, etc.)
- Cloud Security & Architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP, Microsoft Defender)
- SD-WAN Network & Infrastructure Security: NGFW (Palo Alto, Fortinet), EDR, XDR, SASE
- Planning, implementation, configuration and migration of market-leading cyber security solutions
- Execution of proof-of-concept installations as well as technical solution presentations and workshops
- Technical project management, project tracking and reporting
- Supporting sales with technical expertise during proposal preparation
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a degree in (business) informatics, technical or applied computer science
- Practical experience in your preferred focus area, ideally in a consulting role
- Quick comprehension and an analytical mindset
- Confident presence and strong communication and presentation skills
- Customer- and service-oriented approach and ability to work in a team
- Very good German and English skills
- Willingness to travel within Germany/Austria/Switzerland (D/A/CH) (50–60%)
