About the role

  • Pricing and Analytics Manager leading high-impact analytics team at OLX. Developing pricing strategies and driving data-informed decision-making to optimize business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies like Atomic Pricing, aligned with business objectives in partnership with Business Stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create pricing proposals and optimize the product pricing mix
  • Build predictive models to forecast demand, churn, and pricing sensitivity
  • Lead and manage the high-performing analytics team to solve challenging business cases from customer segmentation to Real estate demand and supply forecasting and to ensure the delivery of high-quality data analysis
  • Build AI agents based on our datasets to enable quick insights for other business team
  • Define KPIs and dashboards to track business health, pricing performance, and business trends
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth or improvement
  • Identify growth opportunities through segmentation and cohort analysis
  • Partner with leadership in commercial, product and finance to identify data opportunities and implement recommendations
  • Work with data engineering teams to oversee data infrastructure, governance, and BI tools to enable self-service analytics
  • Drive the adoption of data-driven decision making throughout the organization
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in analytics and recommend new technologies or processes
  • Collaborate with the management on short and long term business strategy
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales, product, finance) to understand data needs and provide analytical support
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence roles, including leadership experience
  • Business Acumen: Proven ability to balance data insights with commercial strategy
  • Leadership: Experience managing high-performing analytics teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
  • Experience with BI platforms like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English.
