About the role

  • Communications Intern in the OhioHealth team assisting in marketing and communication tasks. Supporting projects, gathering information, and creating content for diverse platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Assists management and other staff in completion of various projects and long term assignments.
  • Information Gathering: Provides assistance to staff by gathering pertinent information to complete a project or task assigned.
  • Provides other assistance and completes assignments specific to department as directed by management.

Requirements

  • High School or GED (Required)
  • Junior or senior-level college student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or other related fields
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask,
  • Meet deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Professional and flexible self-starter and self-motivator
  • Familiarity with AP style
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office or Desktop publishing as required by the department
