About the role
- Senior Analytics Engineer owning and evolving data practices at OfficeRnD. Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure data-driven decision-making and product innovation.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust data models in dbt, leveraging advanced features, macros, and best practices.
- Maintain and support our data infrastructure.
- Monitor and optimize data syncs, warehouse performance, and costs.
- Develop and manage Looker dashboards and explores, ensuring data accuracy for internal stakeholders and our customers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders to deliver data solutions that drive decision-making.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integration challenges.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on the data, its relationships, and overall architecture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Strong experience with dbt, including macros, tests, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse (Redshift, Bigquery, etc.).
- Familiarity with Fivetran or other ELT tools.
- Experience with Looker (LookML, dashboard design, user permissions).
- Comfort working with Git-based workflows, preferably GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD orchestration.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.
- Experience with the following would be a plus: Python and data quality frameworks.
- Background in SaaS or B2B product analytics.
