About the role

  • Engineering Manager leading development teams for OfficeRnD's SaaS platform. Overseeing change management initiatives, team dynamics, and technical leadership for product strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a cross-discipline, high-performing team, including Full stack, Front-end and QA engineers;
  • Provide context, support, set goals and give guidance as the team works toward our business objectives — you will inspire, not merely direct;
  • Set up efficient work methods to improve team processes using online productivity tools, company workshops and performance challenges;
  • Drive change management initiatives to enhance team dynamics and improve ways of working;
  • Partner with Product Management and Design team to achieve common goals;
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding and Support with the common goal to make our customers successful and happy;
  • Collaborate with Chief Architect and CTO to ensure architecture requirements and guidelines are met;
  • With time become an expert in our SaaS product from high-level engineering perspective, understand architecture, and collaborate to address high complexity.
  • Collaborate with the teams to ensure site reliability and operations run smoothly.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of management experience, specifically in leading development teams (Backend, Frontend, Platform, or Integration teams);
  • Demonstrated experience leading on-call teams, managing incident response, and ensuring high system availability and reliability;
  • A strong background in building and managing SaaS products, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this environment;
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor team members, effectively setting goals, providing actionable feedback, and supporting professional growth and development;
  • Experience in driving change within development teams, optimizing team dynamics, and enhancing workflows to meet evolving business needs;
  • Ability to balance product development priorities with technical depth, ensuring the stability and scalability of the platform;
  • A proactive, confident approach to problem-solving, embracing complex challenges, and driving innovative solutions;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams across different functions, backgrounds, and expertise;
  • Fluency in English.
