About the role

  • Engineering Manager leading Product Engineering team in London at nPlan. Overseeing development and mentoring engineers while scaling in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our Product Engineering team in London, reporting to our CTO.
  • Work closely with our VP of Product and senior engineers within the department.
  • Contribute to the development of the department and our products.
  • Guide engineers from Frontend to Infrastructure in ensuring our capabilities and capacities are constantly growing.
  • Mentor and grow senior engineers, unblock hard problems, and push the Engineering department by achieving ambitious objectives and high standards of performance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing 10+ engineers (ideally across multiple disciplines) in a high-growth, product-centric environment.
  • Comfortable scaling teams, systems and processes towards Series C.
  • A track record of governing technical debt whilst executing on software delivery at pace.
  • A background in requirements-driven architecture and systems design in the cloud.
