About the role
- Project Manager overseeing technical activities of offshore oilfield projects for NOV, ensuring timely completion within budget.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities for designated project(s) to ensure goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget parameters.
- Serve as the single point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and customer suppliers. Act as the communications coordinator for assigned major projects, ensuring effective coordination across all internal departments.
- Ensure preparation and delivery of customer documentation and project drawings in accordance with contract requirements.
- Represent the Company at customer and subcontractor coordination and status meetings.
- Monitor project activities to ensure cost targets and gross margin objectives are achieved.
- Track and control major components of project costs.
- Assume responsibility for maintaining and executing the overall project schedule.
- Follow required administrative procedures to ensure successful project execution.
- Negotiate the settlement of claims associated with assigned projects.
- Monitor project progress against established plans and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet objectives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV company policies and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical troubleshooting and repair of offshore oilfield equipment and/or drilling operations.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
