- Support Functional Engineering initiatives
- Assist with staff workload forecast preparation

- Acquire the necessary computers, equipment, and tools to enable the team to accomplish their assigned job
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Leads Engineering teams with program execution
- Mentor Engineers on all phases of the Program
- Creates, reviews, and maintains critical documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Supports the software department, software center, and software sector in their day-to-day activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field AND 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in software development, OR a Master’s degree in a STEM field AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a PhD in a STEM field and 4 years of experience that includes a background in software development
- Prior experience in a leadership capacity using agile development
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with Agile software development, object-oriented architecture and programming, software integration and testing
- Experience with at least two of the following programming or scripting languages: Java, Python, Go, C++, C#, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, or KornShell
- Experience with Cloud technologies and service providers
- Active in-Scope, DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR)
