- Full-Stack Engineer developing and improving digital product portfolio for LBR, an independent legal publisher. Collaborate within a team to deliver a software roadmap and ensure product quality.
Responsibilities
- Implementation Work, as part of your team, with the software and product teams to deliver the software roadmap to develop and constantly improve the customer facing products
- Continuous improvement for web development
- Quality, security and performance of the codebase
- Work within the company’s processes and support company initiatives
- Support your manager and Senior Developers to define technical deliverables for roadmap work
- Technical implementation of sprint objectives
- Provide broad brush estimates for roadmap planning and finer grained estimates for sprint planning
- Help to resolve issues with applications in a timely manner
- Keep bugs and known security vulnerabilities to a minimum
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a software development role with strong IT knowledge and ability to solve complex tech problems
- Understand the principles of developing reliable software that can scale to business needs, plus essential knowledge of best practice principles
- Experience of working within an Agile software development environment
- IT knowledge and ability to use Visual Studio, VS Code, Jira, Confluence
- Self-motivated and driven with excellent time management skills
- Good business and process analysis skills
- Ability to prioritise work and to escalate where necessary
- Capable of developing good relationships with product managers and stakeholders
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Clear communicator
- Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
